2 of the 3 last guys are career AHLers

Tverberg is still interesting and should get a shot if he has a good year next season
Not really fair to Steeves when he hasn't even been given a proper chance despite putting up great AHL numbers from day 1 and is still just 24. People were saying the same about 27-year old Bobby McMann when he was waived early in the year and now we're missing his presence sorely in the playoffs. Keefe has also shown he has a very short leash for young guys on the cusp and quickly moves on from guys. Other useful players like Marchment, Moore, Amadio etc were also given up on.

McMann had a physical component to his game and size which got him his chance

Steeved as well as hes produced hasnt been on the leafs radar for callup options really which is concering at 24 years old.

Maybe he gets a shot next year but cowan/greb/minten will be likely taking 3 spots + Reeves + McMann in the bottom 6 next year and half or so. Doesnt leave much room there for Steeves who hasnt been able to force his way onto the team

6 points in 23 playoff games after after 41 in 67 regular season. Perfect fit with our current core of no shows
I realize that this is more of a shot against our current core and less about the player himself. That said, to get into every game in the playoffs as a 21yo in that league is definitely a good sign. The fact that he's already played 135 KHL games - most of which happened before his 21st birthday is also good. The K and their coaches do not consider the league to be a developmental one.

Had an C in U17. Went straight to the MHL at 18yo and wore an A there. Produced at every level.

28 goals and 67 points in 120 regular season KHL games as a 19-20 year old is pretty promising.

6'2" every time he steps on the ice too

Obviously don't know much about the player other than what was collected from Elite, but still some positive signs there.

One thing I noticed is the ELC starts this year. What's the reasoning with the Marlies season being over.
