If it's anything how Keefe handles rookies like Robertson... Not looking forward to it.Should be an interesting next year or two with Cowan, Minten and Greb likely pushing for spots.
Great thing is Keefe is gone after tomorrow. If it's anything how Keefe handles rookies like Robertson... Not looking forward to it.
Also have Steeves, Tverberg, Abruzzese in the mix.Should be an interesting next year or two with Cowan, Minten and Greb likely pushing for spots.
Tempting, but he's not ready for it.**** it, put him in. Not like he’s going to score less goals than the regulars
Fun fact: Ovechkin had 2G 4A in 21 playoff games before he went to Washington.6 points in 23 playoff games after after 41 in 67 regular season. Perfect fit with our current core of no shows
2 of the 3 last guys are career AHLersGreat thing is Keefe is gone after tomorrow.

Not really fair to Steeves when he hasn't even been given a proper chance despite putting up great AHL numbers from day 1 and is still just 24. People were saying the same about 27-year old Bobby McMann when he was waived early in the year and now we're missing his presence sorely in the playoffs. Keefe has also shown he has a very short leash for young guys on the cusp and quickly moves on from guys. Other useful players like Marchment, Moore, Amadio etc were also given up on.2 of the 3 last guys are career AHLers
Tverberg is still interesting and should get a shot if he has a good year next season
McMann had a physical component to his game and size which got him his chanceNot really fair to Steeves when he hasn't even been given a proper chance despite putting up great AHL numbers from day 1 and is still just 24. I realize that this is more of a shot against our current core and less about the player himself. That said, to get into every game in the playoffs as a 21yo in that league is definitely a good sign. The fact that he's already played 135 KHL games - most of which happened before his 21st birthday is also good. The K and their coaches do not consider the league to be a developmental one.6 points in 23 playoff games after after 41 in 67 regular season. Perfect fit with our current core of no shows
Greb played the playoffs injured. It was said by someone that off the ice, he could barely walk and still played.6 points in 23 playoff games after after 41 in 67 regular season. Perfect fit with our current core of no shows

There will be someone else in charge. If it's anything how Keefe handles rookies like Robertson... Not looking forward to it.
