I hope Pastujov gets at least a game because it is so rare for a non-goalie to play in the ECHL, AHL, and NHL all in the same season. Almost never happens! So San Diego and Anaheim are on a combined 10 game win streak? I’ll take it!
I know colangelo is likely the call up post deadline…. But do you think pastujov gets a game or 2… as a reward for his play?
Luneau prob sticks in AHL rest of the year pending injury which is fine he’s already had nhl taste.
Think it depends on what the goal is with calling him up, putting him with say McTavish and Gauthier? That would be worth it. Putting him with Lundestrom and Johnston/Leason? Waste of time. I'd like to see Pasta get a couple of games with offensive players, as I think he might show something. So San Diego and Anaheim are on a combined 10 game win streak? I’ll take it!

Agree if you call up pasta or colangelo they’d need to be replacing fabbri.Think it depends on what the goal is with calling him up, putting him with say McTavish and Gauthier? I hope Luneau stays in San Diego, the Gulls are already scraping the barrel by icing Biakabutama and Kinal on a regular basis, throwing in Lucas into the mix too would be rough. Plus I'd rather see Luneau get big minutes in San Diego then rotate in and out of the line up at the NHL level.
I agree. Ducks already have Zellweger, Helleson, and Mintyukov learning to be NHL defensemen on the fly. LaCombe has just barely graduated from that list (but is still learning). They don't need to add Luneau this year (or maybe even next) to that mix.Think it depends on what the goal is with calling him up, putting him with say McTavish and Gauthier? That would be worth it. Best case is we can find a team trying to get rid of a dmen that’s signed through this year(maybe overpaid a bit) and get an asset to take them as a cap causality.Anaheim needs a fringe, vet D if Dumo is traded away to potentially keep Luneau in San Diego and not in an NHL rotation b/c we need a 7th D on the team when we go on road trips.
Verbeek has the entire organization employing a season-long rope-a-dope strategyWonder if San Diego’s coach was finally given the reigns to play his own system?
