A modest raise for what is just about an ideal amount of term. This is a tidy piece of business for as long as he can produce at a top six level (which should cover the duration of this deal).

So you have no idea, it is just based on how you feel, how people use it makes sense now, thanks.

A guy like Tavares is more honorable. These are the rules, play within them.

Domi is kind of a douche bag and will adhear to the rules when it suits him but also find ways to get the elbow up in the nose or a stick in the nuts. Seems to get guys rattled in chirping sessions instead of just skating by with his head down like JT.

You get the idea...

Very reasonable signing. Did not think Max would accept under $4M.

Home town boy with the home town discount.

Now…only if they can get the other home town kid (Marner) to take less as well.

3.75 is abit pricey, but he is someone capable of playing 2C or next to AM.
Think he will be even better knowing he is home for the next few years.

Overall, solid renewal.
What the hell are you talking about? $3.75M for a top six forward is pricey to you?

Price/yr is good. 4 year terms is long.
Sometimes, the player is seeking a certain amount, so for example, if Domi was seeking 15M, then he would have wanted 5M a year on a 3-year deal. I remember that being the case with Jason Blake when he signed with the Leafs. He basically wanted 20M and agreed to sign for 5 X 4M as opposed to 4 X 5M.

I used to think posters were being a bit unfair to you, but with posts like this it’s like you carry around a shovel to dig your own holes. It’s pretty obvious what’s different about Domi and Kerfoot…

Yes, Kerfoot plays a game with more "snot" between the whistles and Domi plays a game with more "snot" after the whistles, it is obvious, I agree.

Max knows he’s going to play 1st line minutes on Auston’s wing… there was never going to be a better opportunity on any other team.

Smart move by both Max and Tre.
