Dahlstrom is a younger version of Marincin, so that is solid depth. Between him and Rubins, we have some promising, large, puck moving LD as primary LD depth behind Sandin. Not physical guys though.

Biega is smaller, but he is physical and is packed in well (5'10", 200lbs). Not a bad option behind Menell on the RD depth chart, and I think they have hope that Duszak and especially Hollowell continue to take steps.

These are hugely inconsequential to the Leafs and are simply insurance players added and likely have a role on the Marlies. Every single team adds these kind of players. Year after year. Doesn't matter if they are the Senators or the Lightning or the Knights or the Coyotes.

You calling them "Depth defensemen with experience" seems a bit of an overstatement though, considering they've amassed a whopping total of 4 goals in a combined 305 games.

305 NHL games is experience for minor leaguers likely going to the AHL. It's more than *checks calculator* 0. It seems like you're taking a statement and making your mind about how that experience should be because you're clearly upset about 2 very lowly signings that won't change much of anything. It wasn't that deep.
