The number of goalies playing "the game of their life" against the Leafs is hilarious. Maybe at some point we have to admit we're just not as dangerous as we should be offensively.

Willy and Auston have shown that they add to their game and come back better every season. They are worth the money.

Marner looks the same every year and JT is slowly eroding. Similarly Rielly doesn’t improve at all year after year. Wouldn’t sign him long term.

This is hockey. These “luck” situations generally start when a team with a quicker, more dogged work rate pressures another team into manufacturing boneheaded turnovers in bad places on the ice. Then quick bang bang plays funnelling the puck at the opposition net on the turnover. There’s always a pattern to this chaos.

And teams like the Leafs always look like a million bucks cycling around, pumping up shot totals while making AHL guys look like Hasek Jr. This is textbook how to disrupt the Leafs.

Come on, we’re dominating. They’re giving up chances left and right. Their goalie has been godmode. Ottawa doe NOT DESERVE to be up 3-9

I think Ottawa is so bad that the leafs could very well still win it...

But I'm utterly sick and tired of this "ran into a hot goalie" excuse. I'm just so sick of it. We've lost two playoff series in a row based on that excuse. I'm over it.

Other teams goalie's don't "magically" always play better against the leafs. There's clearly some sort of finish/head game problem with the leafs core.
