Leafs were dominating before Simmonds took that pointless penalty.

They actually started skating and drawing (uncalled) penalties but you have to admire the efficiency with which they blew away a solid ten minutes of effort with some flukey deflections.

We dominated play for 6 minutes. The first 12 were slow and sloppy and resulted in a goal against due to a bad turnover. The last two minutes we took an offensive zone penalty and made another bad giveaway resulting in two more goals.

They've been trash. On that Engvall giveaway goal, Holl had the chance of retrieving that pass and Muzzin certainly should have had a man in front of the net instead of puck watching.

Yep this team doesn't want to do the easy or smart thing. That puck should've been fired hard out of the zone with that little time left. Don't care who it is, should be benched for remainder of game to send a message. Team is losing because of simple brain dead plays.
