Gotta think this is a huge game for anderson to stand out.. hes been ok but he needs a good one

Jesus did the ads explode over night on here

Likely lines based on practice:

Robertson --- Holmberg --- Malgin
ZAR --- Kampf --- NAK
McMann --- SDA --- Anderson
Steeves --- Shaw --- Simmonds

Mete --- Holl
Krall --- Holowell
Kokkonen --- Villeneuv

Samsonov

This is pretty much all the bubble boys getting a chance here. Don't be surprised if there's a bunch of cuts after this one, with the last 3 games being mostly the full lineup with a handful of bubble battles mixed in.

McMann and Steeves are two players I am excited about
I hope one of them gets some good looks this year

Not excited about Malgin as some of you are. Hope I am wrong
Last year it was Ritchie and Ho Sang. One of them was given all opportunities and failed hard
Looked good in pre-season but can't seem to pull through when they face actual NHLers on consistent basis

I don't know that many are that excited about Malgin, he'll be given every chance to make the team though.

Depending on who the Sens dress it might be a busy night for Samsonov. I wonder if he gets a full game or 40 min again.

All 3 contenders for a middle six spot on the same line. I like it.

Steeves on the 4th? Maybe seeing if he can drive a line. Or they’ve already made a decision on him.
Mete gets some top pairing minutes, will be a busy night for him.

Holl gets a big role tonight. Just needs to keep it simple.

Another look at Krall, all those bottom 4 D men are potential call ups, time to impress.

Lots to look forward to

Agreed on Malgin. Though I do like him better than what I saw from Ho-Sang in preseason last year.

The “prospects” I have hope for that have performed well

Steeves. Malgin kinda and holmberg. These could be cheap bottom 6 options

I have hope for villenueve petruzelli and Robertson who haven’t really

According to alter , Samsonov plays the full game. Sens are dressing Tkachuk, batherson, Norris, stutzle.

Hopefully it doesn't get ugly.

One of those games where we are seeing how the marlies can do against their A team.

I guess we can wait until the regular season to get the big boys out there and remind them they're still rebuilding

Going to be a hard test for Samsonov. It's largely the Marlies against a fairly complete Sens team.

Caution about looking at his stats vs. watching how he actually plays tonight.

Logan Shaw is interesting. A decent amount of NHL games (232+playoffs) but signed an AHL deal with the Marlies. They don't play AHL contracts very often in NHL pre-season.
