When Matthews played possessed as he has tonight, he is nearly unstoppable.

I've watched 1000s of players and Matty is right up there with the best when he just wills himself. If he applies the same desire he has the last few weeks come playoffs, he can carry the team on his shoulders.

It's great to see a guy who won't be denied. He just wants it. You can't teach that. You have to want greatness, and he plays both sides of the ice with the same desperation.

I love how matthews plays away from marner. He drives the line way more. Passes the puck to everyone. Goes into corners and digs.
