All of Buffalo will be on the edge of their seat for this one. That said, they have a good chance to end their losing streak against the Islanders on Monday. It will be a Festivus Miracle.

Matt Murray is among the most injury prone players of all time and I don't think that's exaggeration.

Now he claims he feels better then he has in years, hopefully that's true and he can pick up a few wins.

I got a feeling the offense will have to be on tomorrow.

Personally I would have called up the Russian kid whose name I can't begin to spell.
My guess Akhtyamov ...
He got shelled not too long ago.

How come? Seems like he’s just not very good
Yet! He is still young and adjusting to North American hockey life. There is potential there, but he's better off feeling good about himself in the A.

Murry has been there, done that. Let's see what he's got left in the tank and how he responds after dual hip surgery earlier this year!

If all our goalies are playing at their peak, imo, Murry is the best followed by Woll and Stolarz.

It's crazy how he went from Hildabeast to Hildabust within 10 games.

Without playing 10 games. We want our young players to get opportunities, but as soon as they don't meet the expections of Lemieux or Hasek, we must get another player who is no longer part of our plan to step in

Murray can easily win 10 games in 10 starts. But it makes no sense to me to give an opportunity to someone who'll not be here next year or part of the bigger picture

Hidelby has rough start, but that's every young goalie comes into the league. Not withstanding the fact that Leafs have played like crap last 10 games but won because of goaltending

What makes you say that?
Nothing in particular. At some point, long losing streaks end. This is a random Friday night game for the Leafs coming off a win against a very good team in Dallas on the road. It's not unheard of for teams to take these kinds of games lightly.

Not my definition of a trap game but I see what you mean.
Hopefully they use the 'lets not be the Team that breaks their losing streak' approach as motivation.

A game in Buffalo and Murray is starting?
Oye.

Would have preferred to give Hildeby another game in this situation.

But hey maybe it’s a little Xmas bonus for Murray coming off a strong game with the Marlies.

Setting my hopes low.. I bet Buffalo ends their skid tonight. Just a vibe.

I don't think we know who is starting quite yet, but Murray will start tonight or tomorrow either way.

Matt Murray is a great story. At this point he’s playing for the love of the game.

Hildeby has just been okay at both levels this year. I’m good with sending him back down.
Oh to be so wealthy at the ripe old age of 30, 875,000 means nothing it’s just for the love of the game
