Kolarik was the leading goal scorer on the whale and we get rid of him for Ferriero makes no sense
He helps the defense out. But unfortunately, he's also in charge of the abysmal PP.

He's not been the Henrik we've all loved for all his seasons here. I think we can all agree on that. Obviously because he hasn't played for an eternity.

I actually like the look of the bottom 6 lines. That 4th line got some chances and the 3rd is using their strengths to create havoc. It's the 2nd line that is out of sorts. Stepan and Callahan have no chemistry

That last powerplay actually looked decent. The play on the Nash chance is EXACTLY what this team should be doing more: making quick passes, moving their feet, getting into better position. They have the skill, they're just ****ing stupid.
Came into this thread to write the same exact thing. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this post gets lost in a sea of pessimism and overreactions.
Outside of two (crucial) defensive mistakes this team has played outstanding. The scoreboard says otherwise, but that is just part of hockey.

.....somebody has to explain to me how any goalie in the league is stopping either of the 2 goals allowed tonight. Grabovski alone in front to make a deke, jvr alone to tuck a rebound around an outstretched pad. These are defensive lapses not weak goals. Some of you people ********** baffle me.

But yes, let's blame Hank for allowing 2 goals, both of which were not his fault. Any goalie can stop any puck, let's just blame every goalie in this league for not getting a shutout every night.

the problem with richards on the pp is everyone is looking at him to work something and he ends up forcing ****. get some movement going and let nash and gabby rip em.
He wants one man at the point, Nash and Gaborik on the half wall, Callahan in front of the net and Stepan behind the net.
Sure why not.
