They swept that 120 point Tampa team in the first round. That series is more glory than anything we've had in a decade.

He is back to being a poor defensive player. As with many of these Leafs, you can't change their spots.

It's like Max Domi turned into a slob again after they locked him up to a contract. He flames out of every market after a couple of years.

Until this team gets a leader that shows some emotion, this is what you are going to get in what we would consider higher emotion situations.

None of the leaders show any emotion.

I will say though that Nylander brings it.

Fck I hate this team's makeup.

The bottom two lines should be aggressive in the hitting department the entire game. That third line is severely lacking in this department.

The entire reason to sign him was the chemistry he had with Matthews letting Marner run another line. We haven't given him 1 second of time with him.

Several Russian players were already picked/drafted that year before Kucherov. No one predicted he would be a MVP calibre player.

I don't think a single Russian born player was taken 1st round that year or 2nd round until Kucharov. Only other played to be drafted was Nemesnikov. Who was at the time playing in OHL

The year before it was Tarasenko and Kuznestov. Tarasenko was touted to be top 8. Kuz was touted to be early to mid 1st
