GDT: Leafs @ Penguins

1 pm start. Penguins played last night. That’s a short time to have another game. I’d be mad if this was a game that affected the teams playoff chances. As it is maybe it helps their lottery position.

We play tomorrow as well.

Let’s not have any injuries and get out of the States with a good win streak.

Leafs go on two western road trips this month. Lots of travel 13 of 23 on the road.

Not that good, not bad either though. Looks like he's having a fine season playing a lot of minutes as a #4/5 Dman for WSH who's solid defensively and currently 2nd overall. Here are WSH stats that include their top 6 Dmen sorted by ATOI.

I wouldn't like a d-corps with Sandin and Rielly on it, we were right to move one but, how does this team look with Rielly vs Sandin + cap space?

That trade was a win for the leafs. Sandin is not worth a 1st rounder today. They capitalized on his value being at its peak. That in itself makes the trade worth it. Sandin was a third pairing dman on our team and we got a first for him.
