NHL players respect the team more than fans do. Just because the internet memes the Leafs over previous results, doesnt mean the league isnt scared of the current Leafs.

Everyone knows goaltending is what separated us from being in the same realm of the Avs this season or Florida who is whatever. Theyll never admit to it though, while they make fun of 1st round exits to teams that go to the cup finals when comparing us to teams that also choked.

Marner is so hot right now he can be in a wrist shot wind up for 3 seconds and people are still giving him space. The counter intuitive thing is the more productive you are the more space and time people give you out of fear.

I have always said that marner has some Gilmour in him.
It took him a little bit to get there but he was playing like this for the London Knight's.
He is finally getting stronger .

I found it weird that Giroux hand-picked the Panthers. For a guy who had a cup final experience but ultimately didn't win, probably should have known better that defense wins championship, not all out offense like this team is.
