Hope I'm wrong but predict 5-1 Panthers and another player added to our injury list.
That score is much more likely to be the other way around. Florida's defense is actually quite poor. Close to last in the league in goals against. Leafs should be able to score a few power play goals tonight.

Maurice and Panthers need this one pretty bad. And they are the defending champs. Leafs still playing with house money but in tough I think. Hope for the best. Our D will need to be physical.

Florida will be fired up tonight on home ice and looking to end their uncharacteristic slump.

With a depleted lineup yet again, I would be content if we can manage a point out of this one.
Has anyone actually watched Florida play in the last few weeks?

Leafs being just as depleted today as on Sunday doesn’t bode well for our chances. Thought we looked pretty meh with the amount of call-ups and missing regulars. Hope the boys can pull off a win tonight but it’ll need to be the Stolarz show for us to do so.

That is just it though. While good teams do go through slumps and streches of uninspired hockey, they don't last forever.

Fla will be ready for a divisional game and want to break their slump.

Florida's defense isn't in a slump. It's bad. That's it. They lost too much in the off-season.

In this situation, who has the advantage in a goalie facing his old team. The Goalie who knows the players tendencies or the players who know the goalies weakness?

I think this will be the story tonight, hopefully Stolarz frustrates them to no end tonight.

It could be argued either way. But I always feels it's advantage for the goalie.

Most shooters already know a goalie's weaknesses from coaching/scouting before the game. So there isn't much difference if you know the goalie well or not, you'll be just as prepared.

But a goalie knowing the attacking players tendencies is worth more. You might know set plays, how much they prefer a pass, and other things beyond just what they shoot like.

Nylander can now carry his own line .
I feel he can do it on his own.
Yes, he can carry his own line... but this is like being asked to carry boat anchors. Roberson one point, Holmberg three... Nylander TWENTY FOUR.

If these two can't get something going on this line..... I'm not even sure what to say... Nylander might end up having to do it on his own again.

I think today is where Reaves’ presence will be missed
Sarcasm I assume? Or do people still somehow believe he's useful?
