I don’t love what I’m seeing from the core forwards, Rielly and Woll. Everyone else showed up to battle hard and those pieces were kind of in that quasi load management mode.

It's a completely meaningless game for the Leafs. I think people are reading way too much into it.

This is what I don't like about this stupid 70 goal thing. I get that it's a round number. That's literally all it is. No one has scored 69 goals in forever, so 70 is just one more meaningless goal. The sooner this crap can end, the better. If they play him against Tampa just to get this goal, it will say something about how strong the coaching staff is.
