The puck was behind the ice but the ref had blown the whistle and play was dead so the puck being behind at that poitn didnt matter.

Tough call but one we'd fight for on the other end too.

Now should the ref have waited a bit to blow the whistle? Perhaps, did he really lose sight of it or was he jumping the gun there
