I'd be fine with resting some guys for this game. Let the bruises heal up, there are still several games to go and we need to be firing on all lines.
 
Campbell back is huge, plus if he gets 3 or 4 in a row Fred gets some rest and gets healthy, and we see what Campbell can do on a more consistent basis.

For someone who has only played 8 games as a leaf, he has quite the reputation already:laugh:

Buuut if you keep a close eye on Twitter to get up to the minute updates you can make your bets based on the Vegas odds maybe before they move the line.

Anyways, came here for the Leafs-Oilers talks so GO LEAFS GO!

All I want is a win and no more injuries. I don’t care if it’s 1-0 or 7-6, don’t care if Matthews is held pointless and McDavid gets a hatty, all I want is a win here. Someone who’s seemed to really turn the corner is Pulijarvi so gonna have to keep him in view while McDavid and Drai do their thing.

Who’s back in tonight? Jumbo and Campbell seem to be for sure. Muzzin practiced with a full face shield so I’m assuming him as well. Anyone know about Hyman?

Always good to watch 4 of the top 5 scorers in the league face off. Should be a great game!

I’d be worried about Campbell coming back and playing 3 straight. Not only because all 3 are against McDavid but also because of the injury he’s coming back from. They showed the highlights of his last game and the guy could hardly move after getting hurt and then POS Tkachuk drove his knee down into the back of his neck. If he re-aggravates the injury who knows when he may be back

We do our own props pool. 15 to 20 guys,$10 a head, winner take all.
Makes a huge difference if all or none of Matthews, Hyman, Thornton, Muzzin, Campbell play.
 
Matthews has rested a game before this season, im sure if he needs to he will again. That said I have a feeling he will play.
 
Mathews should be captain now.
He is leading by example.
Wasn't sure before but his game has gone to another level and he can handle it now.

It may even bring him to another level.

Keep it up.

Not just the goal scoring but he now has a physical part to his game like f*** you it's my puck.

Rest Matthews, we dont really need this game. the next 2 are more important
 
If Matthews is good to go tonight even if not at 100% I would try and get him through these 3 big games with the Oilers. If these games go well give him a rest for the 2 games against the Canucks so he is good to go for the Jets.
