I'm guessing you haven't watched many of their games in the last couple of years? That was what they were under Barry Trotz. Under Lambert, they are a leaky ship that looks mostly disorganized in all of the games I have watched. I imagine even worse now with their most reliable defensemen injured. The Leafs will probably cover the over themselves in this one. The Islanders are not a good defensive team.

Barzal and Horvat are decent. The rest is definitely underwhelming. There is a reason they will likely not make the playoffs.

Hopefully our boys come to play tonight... Nashville was a good sign, not playing down to a competitor...and tonight is much the same... if we play as well as we can, with actual effort, it should be a regulation win... but actually doing so.. .that hasn't been too common.
