What I don’t get is how some people capped Lily’s ceiling as a 3rd pairing defenceman. Kid is 22, looking better every game, he’s mobile and making good decisions, jumping into the play, he looks top 4 for sure to me. Maybe number 2 on a top pairing with Sandin.

His role should be 3-4 line physical player who gets rewarded with some top 6 minutes, but majority in bottom 6. Pp2 as well

Ended up a waste of energy. I was making note of this but the odd thing is the hits did nothing to disrupt Leafs transition game. They hit and Leafs get the puck over the line with possession.

I have watched a couple of games not too many...of the oilers. I honestly think its still the same.... Two players playing out of their minds like gods among humans. I'll be very interested to see this in the playoff, the last game i saw their goalie went freaking Patrick roy-esque and beat the jets, but IMO the jets were playing much better collectively.
