GDT: Leafs @ Nashville - 7pm - HNIC

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

Good news is that I put $250 on the Preds tonight. Easiest bet of my entire life. Going into Nashville to play arguably the worst team in the league? Leafs on a winning streak? Michael Bunting in the lineup for the Preds? This was a scheduled loss.

Why is everyone talking about the florida teams losing...if they both won it would be even more imperative to win this one to keep up. there is no result there that wouldn't make these important points

That dreadful period was brought to you by a really stupid penalty taken by Knies with virtually NO TIME left in the 1st period

What a poor showing by our Leafs in the 2nd period, supposedly our best period !!!

Our Leafs better score 3 unanswered goals in the 3rd !!!

The NHL is looking at the element of surprise for this year's awards.

Let me rephrase that: The NHL allows it to be made public that the NHL is looking at the element of surprise for this year's awards ...:help:

Nope Laughton earned his share of criticism on the tying goal too.
"All our problems are due to Toronto-born players! Now, which Toronto-born players want to come in as replacements and be whipping boys for their contracts? ... What do you mean, no one?"

Still a period to go. I do hope you win on the odds but not in the actual games does the NHL have a spread like NFL?)

I didn't much care for Knies effort at the net front on the third goal either. He just watched.

Seriously tho, Leafs bashing aside Nashville should have gotten 3 penalties before they scored... but good ol Bettman small market American franchise reffing.

How come we never look look serious when we're leading? I swear, it looks like they stop being aggressive and deviate from what they need to do. Hopefully they can show a little character in the 3rd and tie this puppy up.

For years this team slacks off, create their own adversity. Come out with a redemption effort and then it's back to crapping their pants. Can't they just handle their business, win 4-2 quietly and just move on?
Thats why they will never get it done. It's as if their brain says, "hey we didn't win in a cool, fancy way, let's see if I can get a cool assist when on a two man break". Marner does it the most but it rubs off on others too.

Cup winners just say, "I will get a lead and you will not out compete me or get much of a sniff the rest of the night because YOU have to take the risks, not me, I have the lead. In fact, I will counter your risk taking and increase my lead"

For the moron here touting Saros, he's coming into tonight rocking a 2.94 with an .896. Woll a 2.70 and .908.

I know which one I would rather have.
