He is a marginal role player who likely is gone next year.

Not a major guy to worry about. Playoffs hes actually stepped up in his 3 years with us.

Hes just getting old and worse as he declines and the game becomes too quick for him for a contending team.

If he doesnt have a NMC or any trade protection I think Sabres could be interested in him for a 4th rounder at the draft.

He still has some intangibles and good faceoffs + ability to play a checking role as a 4C for a team trying to become a playoff team
