GDT: Leafs @ Nashville - 7pm - HNIC

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Train Kept a Rollin'

Beauty of an Aerosmith cover. Love them all, from the original done by Tiny Bradshaw, to the Yardbirds, to Led Zeppelin, but Aerosmith's version just cooks.

Well done @ACC1224 :thumbu:. You have already covered yourself in glory today by 8:00 AM
 I tend to peak by the weekend, but typically not this early.

For those that are going to the game it’s a great weekend to be in Nashville with the Opry100 celebration and athe Leafs. Weather is perfect, too.

No plans to visit the US unfortunately for the next say oh ‘bout 4 years.

Sadly my trip to Pittsburgh last December will be the last for a while.

Go Leafs Go!

🇨🇦Go Canada Go! 🇨🇦

Curious to see the lines tonight. I liked the top 2 line configuration from last game, McMann with JT/Nylander seems to work as Bobby can keep up with Willie. Bottom 6 still a work in progress, gotta find a place that works for Laughton.

I'm going to say they keep it going here.

6-2 Leafs.

Matthews with a hatty.

Feeling good about tonight. They are finding a way to win again.

A serious team should win this one easy so I'm going out on a limb here and saying they'll do it for once.

Would love to see Matthews really get rolling with his goal scoring again.

Also, it really doesn’t matter in the grand scheme at all, but I do want to see him hit at least 34 goals in the regular season.
He’s had at least that many in every NHL season

Can we drop this "trap game" bs out of our vocabulary, please? There's like 13 games left. If they want to win the division, there's no time for "trap games". Maybe in November that's somewhat acceptable, but not now. These are big 2 points to drop, if they drop this game. So sick of that phrase.
Why you acting like im one of the players in the Locker room

Alright lets keep rolling here. No time to breathe carefree or take it easy

I know what you mean... as long as they're winning... but when he's playing like he can... they're going to win way more than they lose. Definitely want to see him get at least 34... I think he'll do it. Starting tonight.

So pretty sure all 4 lines and d the same as last game. Jarnkrok and Myers the healthy scratches.

Matthew Knies-Auston Matthews-Mitch Marner
Bobby McMann-John Tavares-William Nylander
Pontus Holmberg-Max Domi-Nick Robertson
Scott Laughton-David Kampf-Steven Lorentz
Morgan Rielly-Brandon Carlo
Jake McCabe-Chris Tanev
Simon Benoit-Oliver Ekman-Larsson
Joseph Woll

I think I’d like to see Laughton and Holmberg switched even though Laughton hasn’t shown much. He’s as defensively sound as Holmberg but I think is the more proven offensively. Give him some time to gell as at least a little bit of an offensive threat on the third line.
