OT: Leafs Lounge XCII - The Beer and Liquor Edition

Concussions....KO'd by baseball bat to head 4yrs old.
KO'd by head to ground 8yrs old.
Black ice and ashphalt 12yrs old.

Most of the others happened after elementary school.

I'm forever amazed to have never had a concussion (or at least I assume...I've never had the headaches or nausea they speak of). I've slammed my head on ice and kind of tasted blood (I grew up before helmets), played quite a bit of soccer (constantly bashing your head...in fact my nickname/username comes from a flying headbutt I received), was a boxer for several years, once smashed an acoustic guitar over my head on a dare (for the record, those are much more sturdy than you would think). Anyhoo...made it through all that and don't think I've ever had one. Actually the two most painful punches I received in boxing were both misplaced hooks that caught me in the back of the head...ouch.

I do however worry a bit though about being a victim of early dimentia.

The football games needs to get settled soon so I can go all in on Washington! :laugh:

Edit: Only 55 mimutes until the betting event closes :(

Edit: only 5 minutes left and still hasn't been settled :scared:

I waited until 12:59 as well :laugh: I was refreshing the thread hoping, and I noticed that someone else was viewing the thread too. When I saw the amount bid go up 5000 I figured it was someone from here and was guessing you :laugh:

We should PM Kristia saying the odds are wrong so the event gets abandoned (everyone gets their bet back) making it so Krishna and RayP don't jump way infront of us with that game :sarcasm: But first we wait until what happens. If the Redskins lose, we can keep quiet ;)

I still hope the redskins win. Would be sweet to win 28 365.

Was planning to bet 14650 which could have put me over 100 000

I was planning to bet something around 27,000 which would put me in the 180,000 range :rant:

If the Redskins win this will easily become the top paying event and completely change the top winning indiviual bets list.

I knew I shouldn't have been greedy last night. I was a little worried about this happening so I considered not betting on Atlanta but decided against it thinking over 12 hours would be plenty of time to settle it :laugh:

Well, now that I have eaten it's time to go try my luck at xmas shopping again. I got a better idea of what I am looking for today since people told me what to get :laugh:
 
Got most of my Christmas shopping done. Still not quite done yet...Got to get my brothers fiance something still.

Also new vCash LL record!!! :D haha
 
Washington wins!

Wow that was so close at the end. Philly came so close to tying up the game twice in the last few seconds.

I saw that. I'm skeptical of that game staying with those odds now though. There was some heavy heavy bets which will make it suspicious and that betting event may get reversed.

I thought about betting on some of the 4pm football games decided against it. None that I liked enough. Will save my vCash for some hockey.
