Hey how did Jeffler get to where he is now anyway?

I kind of know the story of how Steve did but don't know anything about Jeffler or how he ended up being a reporter for the Marlies.

I missed my avy. Had the same one for 5years. Started on another site with it.

Then got it back and changed it like after a week. :laugh:

For a good reason though.

I used to commute with a girl who wa becoming a sound technican at the Toronto Film School(I was in a totally different program).

She actually did Marlies games on Rogers TV when she was 19 or 20.

IT started out as part of her on the job training that the school promised or something. The school had deals with media outlets all over the city.

I would rather read a blog of your Hockey opinions than one done by Craig Button.

Would be a nice thing for the application to broadcasting school having your own blog. Hint hint.

And hey as a girl you would ge all kinds of special treatment.

You can tell the NHL guys are at first amused to be interviewed by a woman, and then she nails them with a few good questions and boom instant connection.


I saw Burke getting interviewed (had to be part of a school thing, a real reporter was on the show and let the two of them have 3-4 questions) they knew nothing about hockey. You could just tell by the lack of spontaneous follow up questons. They showed up in fancey dancing dresses to ask a guy old enough to be their Grandpa about hockey. Jeans and a Hockey jersey if you aren't going to wear a dress suit, would have been way better.

My Mom always says she never worked a day in her life because she did something that she loved. I can't think of a much better carreer thant watching and discussing hockey. Go for it.

I mean most of us in the LL probably have a bigger grasp and knowledge of the game than the average fan but does that really qualify us? :laugh:

I don't read much outside the LL so if LM is some hockey guru on the the other boards schooling people left and right please forgive me :laugh:
