Honestly it's one of the most consistently great anime's the entire way through. The second half is really, really intense and sometimes disturbing. Gatts is one of my favourite characters ever, and Griffith is really cool too. Reminds me of the Light - L friendship of Death Note in a way.

the girl definitely used a voice amplifier you can tell, so I can't judge but it definitely sounds good.

She's surprisingly amazing when she sings live. All singers use editing

Anime that technically became cartoons are like astro boy from the old times or speed racers, which were you know japanese but brought to america.

In our time line it would DBZ, Pokemon and Digimon.
