I'm too tired to even be upset about the game. Leafs always get your hopes up to bring you down with a terrible effort.
Got a date with the sens on sat though so they better make up for this game then.

I'm not even upset about the game or the fact that we lost. The lack of effort was just sad, it looked like they didn't even care. Honestly it reminded me of last year Feb's leafs.
Exact same feeling here. Really happy with Scrivens though, and whoever isn't happy with Scrivens can shove it up their ass. He played awesome.

Poor kid. And schenn, I agree. People just loved hating on scrivy for no reason when the team in front of him practically never showed up. Its his first year in the NHL plus a couple of games last year and people already want him off the team

For sure. He actually plays well, its just the team is so inept in front of him.

I agree, Scribbles has been solid for us this year. His only bad game was against the Islanders. He has given us a chance to win every night he's been in. Can't expect more from your backup. If he can improve his rebound control, positioning and puck handling skills a little bit better, he has the potential to be one of the best backups in the league.

Honesty, I think the entire team did poorly and after a while guys tried to do too much on their own. Mac has been having a bad start this year, grabo looked aweful, phanuef had his bad moments, kadri didn't look the greatest. Everyone else was pretty much invisible, except I thought our fourth line played well.

The team couldn't stand up tonight. Every time they had the puck, they would be on the ice. I didn't get it.

I really think Kessel needs to be put with Kulemin again.
Another thing, Ottawa is going to have a hard time moving the puck IMO without Karlsson. Gonchar is probably their next best offensive guy and he's getting pretty old. Hopefully we can establish an aggressive forecheck to start the game and really set the tone.
