Why 11 cats? Make it 12

Trust, points should be the first category there, it's the most important one when it comes to fantasy related things. If u have to just dump +/- or something (although I'd personally keep it and roll with 12 cats)

I agree with this man.

We need points lol.

Goalie GP is meh, that just depends how the schedule looks.

But points is a must haha

maybe but there is 11 categories already and for some people this is their first fantasy league.. don't want to have too too many categories
I'll chime in again... I don't see the sense behind points if you already have goals and assists as categories. A little too repetitive. As for GP for goalies, all you need is a set minimum for goaltender appearances.

Shutouts are usually ties, but are essential, so rolling with an even number is better, just my opinion doeeeee

Thanks ya.

I think if you guys wanted another categories that it would be like shooting % or SOG or something. Instead of points because there is already G and A

Goals/assists aren't that repetitive with points IMO, and even then, it should be deserved as an extra cat because that's what you judge it on when you draft.

Say these are the results:

Team A
18 Goals, 2 assists.

Team B
17 goals, 31 assists.

Both teams will only get 1 point as a result, although team B was CLEARLY better. If anything, this would help there not be any tiebreaks either.

Points is essential IMO

However a team on the ice for at least 48 goals for would be much more likely to have a better +/- (and PPP, now that I think of it) than a team on the ice for only 20 goals for :)

Burke being fired is not a good thing.

What this man said.

Also I have been watching MAgicofRahat videos on youtube for an hour now. (The guy with the invisible drive thru prank) He is absolutely hilarious. With burning wallets, floating cups, floating money, static shocks.

Was never a fan of Burkie and his big ego. It was his fault. BC, you're next!

What does his big ego have to do with anything? At least he was on a mission and not wondering around selling the farm and letting us down even worse every year like Quinn and others have done. We've never had a foundation like this as a franchise.. EVER. That says something doesn't it?

Nope, not necessarily.

You can have a stay at home Dman on the ice for most the game, get no points whatsoever yet come away with a good +/-
You can have a great sniper score 2 goals yet come away as a - with a couple goals against.

PPP are more commonly assists, I'd take the playmaker over the sniper on the PP as 2 players can get a PPA while only 1 could get a PPG

Regardless, points are the most important category in all fantasy leagues, since that is what you draft on. No one values hits or blocks more than points, or else you'd see teams loading up on DFD.
