Any of you guys text girls who don't ever start the conversation? I've had a few like this in the last while and I used to take it as they weren't interested, but later would find out they were, they just never were the ones to text first. Any similar stories?

Man I love looking at pictures of my ancestors and stuff like that. I love history in general, but it's cool to see what my grandparents, great grandparents etc looked like when they were younger. My one grandparents farm was built in the 1930's and is still in the family, always love going there. On the side of the house, as well in stairs in the one barn there are bullet holes from WWII. My grandpa has some great stories of German soldiers in his house, and playing in abandoned tanks after the war. Even my dad and his buddies used to find old grenades in nearby forests and stuff when he as a kid.

You, sir, need this:

http://www.amazon.ca/dp/B009DE4NKM

I purchased one a couple of weeks ago and have been slowly scanning a tote-full of old photo albums. It's tedious, but combined with Picasa to organize them all, it's a labour of love and well worth it!

I don't think you can replace opening up a physical album and going over age-old photographs, but having a virtual copy of them is imperative!
