 Use it at will my friend!

I love to make a good killer stew .. I really want to try to make ribs and chili though sometime, never done it!

The glaze is really easy! Maple syrup, dijon mustard, salt and pepper .. Cooked on a cedar plank, really simple

Not sure how my broccoli will turn out .. Chopped up garlic and onion with it, and added in some leftover corn from last night .. Should be interesting

Chili is the best. I do 3 different versions. The Carnivore one is just: LEft over roast/sausage, Fresh ground beef/pork, Mushrooms, baked beans, Kidney beans, can of tomato sauce. Spice to taste.

I ****ed up so many stews. I can make a good one now. It's the gravy/broth that makes it.

How are you at sheppard's pie?

Call it if you want but if the Old Man has to step in again to do the job he's Kickin' some ass!

Full ****ing Dad mode goin' on heeeeaahhh!

:laugh::laugh:

Jus' have less, male, more female in the OP. This thread is an embarrassment.

Are you joking? I have smoking hot babes in the op? Do you want me to post a bunch of nudies or something?

Actually thats Brody's man crush. I posted pics of him because its a good movie and he's the star in it. Brody is the one who wants him.

It's hard to have a good movie when the main character is indestructable.

The main character is not indestructable. In fact, he actually dies in the comics.

[spoil]Thing I hated was they just kept bouncing back and forth, lack of character development, Superman's identity was supposed to be kept a secret, NOPE Lois just asked some guy at IHOP or something and boom! Found out his true identity, no Lex Luthor and a few other things. This is honestly the first movie I almost fell asleep in [/spoil]

I don't think I'm spoiling anything, how do you do that? Lol

You weren't spoiling anything, so I am just going to respond point-by-point.

1. Bouncing back and forth is true. It's probably my main criticism as well.

2. Lack of character development? Depends on who you are referring to. But for Superman, his birth-parents, and Krypton, they did a good job in the 2 hours they were given. Pretty much everything that went on with Zod and the destruction of the planet, happened exactly like that. You also got a sense of Zod's motives. Let's not forget, they also had Smallville, and most fans are simply not interested in wasting 10 seasons of Clark Kent becoming Superman, only for Man of Steel to be the exact same thing.

3. Superman's identity is kept a secret (hence the ending of the film); and Lois Lane does know his secret. In terms of her finding out, she didn't just ask some dude at the IHOP

IIRC, she went to Pete Ross, a waitress, Martha Kent, and I think someone else (probably the IHOP). She's the star reporter at the Daily Planet. It's not unreasonable for her to investigate and know.

4. Lex Luthor was not in this film, just like the Joker was not in the first Batman. This was only the first film of a trilogy. Lex Luthor will be in future films, guaranteed.

Worst movie of the year? I hope this is hyperbole.

I didn't think the movie was as good as most people said, but I still enjoyed it. Not the best superhero movie, but still one of the better ones imo.

Pretty much what I was thinking as well. I am a huge Superman fan, but was content with the film. It's not the worst, but it doesn't triumph Batman, either.

I was probably exaggerating a bit but just didn't enjoy the movie compared to the praise its getting. Also its probably because smallville was my favourite show and I liked the comic books. Granted I'm not the biggest fan, but still a fan.

Never tried to make that actually ... Seems like a lot of effort ;)

Very good. Thoroughly enjoyed it. It had some more depth and thinking involved than your typical zombie action flick.

Only thing I don't like about it is that it kind of screws over fans of the book.

The book was so sick but the movie is more a typical zombie film than anything.

Now we probably won't ever get to see a good film adaption of the book :(
