Bert, how long do you walk your dogs per day? Like for an hour? A couple times per day, or something? And do you do it in the morning or evenings?

I have a dog myself. He's a big guy, though. I'm just curious what fellow dog-owners are doing.

My family has a shi-poo. We just let her go outside and run around the farm a couple hours a day. She usually stays out of trouble. Usually.

We haven't had an outdoor dog since my dad ran over our mut a couple years ago. I have been lobbying for a Border Collie or something, but my parents aren't as keen.

I like to keep my boys active, mind you they're just puppies (4 months) .. Ideally 3 times per day, a short 10-15 minutes in the morning before work .. A nice long 30-40 minutes after work since they've been in their crate all day .. And another 20-25 minutes an hour or so before I go to bed to tire them out

Depends on my schedule though, the weather, and if they've been out running around with me in the park or something

They'll be big dogs though, both crosses with a German Shepherd .. One a Rotty cross, the other a Husky/Blue Heeler

I have 2 dogs, one is a british bulldog, and the other is some sort of cross of a Bernese Mountain Dog. I walk them once a day for like 30 minutes-1 hour. Although I have a big backyard so I have them out there and play with them quite a bit. They are pretty big dogs though so I don't have them out for a very long time, especially in this heat.

I went to my friends sweet sixteen two days ago and danced a little bit too much and wore huge heels. My thighs still hurt like hell.

I want a corgi.

But really though I want a husky

Our neighbours across the street have a husky. It's a beautiful animal. Super friendly and has awesome blue eyes. Needs like a 2+ hour walk a day though.

My boy (the one I'm keeping) is a German Shepherd/Husky mix with some Heeler in him ... So ya, I forsee a lot of exercise in my future, which I'm okay with!

Poor boys are wiped out from the sun though .. I'm trying to keep them cool

Had smuggle my roommates cat from her boiler of a room upstairs to my other roommates room in the basement so she wouldn't die from the heat ... Hid her in a box so she didn't freak out when the pups saw her and freaking out

Avoided a death by cat clawing

My dog is part Husky, she just runs around the backyard all day. She is content with chasing animals for her exercise :P

When we first got her, we took her for long walks thinking she would need it, but that just tired her out to much because of all the running she did in the backyard. One time my mom was crossing a street when walking her and the dog decided was too tired to walk anymore and sat in the middle of the road
