We just watched a playoff preview... A Leafs team playing well for the majority of the game, then earning a defeat from the grips of victory at the very end when it matters the most.

3+ minutes with the goalie pulled and couldn't put a shot on net. 4 on 3 for two minutes in overtime and couldn't do a thing.

Only in Toronto.

I'm genuinely confused why people keep blaming keefe for playing nylander in the final minutes.

Is he not like 28 years old at this time and has it not been nearly a decade since he was drafted? He's being paid 11 million dollars starting next year. How can the Leafs go all the way when one of their core forwards hogging 11m a year cannot as much as be trusted to help close out a game because he's too afraid to block a shot and his only form of defence more often than it should be is giving up position to try and lift a stick? How can you blame keefe? They have to get him to change at some point. It's better this stuff gets sorted in a meaningless regular season game than the playoffs.

Another game where the refs take the enjoyment out of NHL hockey for me.

We had 4 pp and failed on all of them plus let in to 2 PK goals. Don’t blame the refs blame the team
