One positive note is Marner, came out on fire and had a great game. Unfortunate that he took the penalty that Avs scored the winner on

Firstly, I have seen many td moves fault because they don't have time to gel. Tre knew, it's now or never for this core. After all these solid adds and only luck will win them 2 rounds? Why? Because Dubas, who never played hockey, told them to man up by giving them all NMCs. The fans did say don't rerun it. Soon it may be too late with all those picks gone and a bone dry prospect pool. Man, he spent 12 years with the same organization before being traded and hitting the ice against a top 5 team in the NHL without even getting a practice in. Maybe cut him some slack?

Leafs are a top 10 team in the NHL that’s going nowhere? Then just pack it in and ship everyone out like Boston then? Accumulate and draft first rounders that won’t see NHL ice until the next decade?
