Thu to Sat is two days. Or to put it another way, almost 48 hours between games. And that's the way it mostly is in the playoffs - play every other day so yeah I don't think it's any excuse at all.

When they announced that both TB and FLA lost, it was was a foregone conclusion that the Leafs would lose. Not taking advantage of an opportunity has been in their DNA for years.

McCabe sometimes has shit for brains. Rielly is a f***ing moron. Loses every battle, ices the puck constantly, and loses his man on a 2 on 2. his man as well. Really stupid penalty by Knies with seconds left in the first. When they had 2 on 1s they tried to make stupid passes…just shoot the puck. Third line with Holmberg out there does not work, Berube had to get his stupid head out of his ass.

Both Florida teams lose, chance to go up, and they just weren’t serious enough. For the love of God, get Rielly off this team.

Morgan’s two problems are that he’s dumb and lazy. I look at every physical one on one battle and what happens, Morgan looks flat footed, a split second too late to the critical moment, puck inches away from his stick crossing the goal line, reaching across the body like he’s water skiing and basically doing everything to look like he’s busy desperately defending without just taking the body and removing the player from the puck with his 225 lb.

You may be fine with our pitiful play because you don't think we had enough rest to play well but I feel it was completely reasonable to expect us to play a lot better than we did, and probably win the game. I don't think we lost because NSH was more rested and played really well, we lost because we played poorly and I've seen this team play much better with less rest (NY being one example).

I'm mostly correcting your understanding of our schedule, which was either misstated or incorrect. I've never heard anyone around the game refer to a one calendar day break as "two days rest", it's just not accurate

It's been a heavy schedule, and I still don't think we should have collapsed like we did. I also don't think we've played well for much of the year
