Post-Game Talk: Leafs lose 5-2

McCabe sometimes has shit for brains. Rielly is a f***ing moron. Loses every battle, ices the puck constantly, and loses his man on a 2 on 2. his man as well. Really stupid penalty by Knies with seconds left in the first. When they had 2 on 1s they tried to make stupid passes…just shoot the puck. Third line with Holmberg out there does not work, Berube had to get his stupid head out of his ass.

Both Florida teams lose, chance to go up, and they just weren’t serious enough. For the love of God, get Rielly off this team.

We know exactly what we're watching. Another wasted season. One that could have been avoided (several times over) if the management of this team (who I suspect you feel knows so much) course corrected in 2021 like they should have.

If your annoyed by the negative posts ignore this thread or the posters.

You are enjoying the leafs season and that is fair. A lot of people are not.

More people are not than are by the way this board has been this year.

Its justified for the state of the boards to be the way they are. Past failures, future assets dwindled, core players being unlikable etc

The leafs have to show for once in the past 10 years that they are a serious contender. The practice warmup is almost done.

Playoffs start soon and there will be no where to hide. Deliver or its over sadly for this team

You mean the Treliving who traded a first and Grebenkin for a player that shouldn’t be playing in the NHL now. Keep waiting for that frog to turn into a prince.

Keep waiting it was just a dumb ass trade period put him at 3c scratch Robertson put jarnkrok there or put holmberg at 3c and put him on the 4 line winger spot but Robertson should be out next game either him or Robertson should be playing not both

To be fair to Laughton, he hasn't even been given the chance to play 3C by Berube. The fact that they traded a 1st for a player that they had playing 4th line wing and under 10 minutes tells me there is a massive disconnect between the coaching staff and the management. This organization is a clown show, top to bottom.

And just to be clear, I'm not saying that Laughton is good or would be good at 3C. And I don't think they should have traded for him. But now that they have, they have to at least give him a chance to try.
