Post-Game Talk: Leafs lose 5-2

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
Not a great game, or effort…but…
Gotta love this toxic fanbase.

My least fav thing about being a Leaf fan, is the 90% of Leafs fans.

Continue on, whipping your whipping boys.
Yes the team hasn't been to a cup final, let alone won one in 57 years and has exactly one win past the first round in the last 21 years but yeah it's the fanbase that is toxic. 🤣 🤣 🤣

Toxic teams produce toxic fanbases. That's how it works. I actually agree about Leaf fans, except the 90% are your ilk, the ones who fill the seats year after year, decade after decade, no matter the results. The ones who would gladly take another 60 years of cupless existence than see anyone get their feefees hurt. You are literally Marge Simpson.

It’s the best city in the NHL….. Dallas is pretty danger good, too
I think it depends to some extent on what stage of life you are at (i.e.., young bachelor versus married with young kids), but Nashville offers a lot for both sides of that spectrum. Florida and Nashville would be at the top of my list. Dallas not far behind (although too bad Austin doesn't have a team). Houston will be a big draw for players, as well.

The effort was the same as they always give. They tried to win.

If you can afford to live in Franklin, TN, you can’t find a better place than that. I’m so thankful that I live in the country with land and able get my hands dirty everyday.

At least two of three things will have to happen to have a deep run:
1) Core guys produce at an elite level
2) We get significant contribution from the secondary scoring options consistently
3) Lights out goaltending

Can't see that happening.

This game was crushing but for your comment,

Multiple family members and friends are talking about bailing out of Canada and TN is on radar. Something ain't right here it's a sneaky creepy vibe lol

The good news is we won the period that they showed up for.

The bad news is they showed up for 1 period.

At least TB andFLA both lost, but definitely pissed points away and an opportunity to move up in the standings.

On to the next one….
