When are we going to acknowledge that Reilly is problem in the backend.
While I know AM and MM scored today but they along with JT and Willie need to do more to carry the team.
now I do think fatigue could be a factor but this game shows the diff between a true contending team and a true playoffs team

Felt this one was gonna be the way it was. Mitch, Matty and Berube all used the term "wake up call". Now, we've all heard that term before, but found it interesting that they each used that exact same term in their post game interviews.
That said, true indicator will be the Colorado game next up.. we shall see how awakened they are!

We are first round outs VS Bolts/Cats.
Second round is just a silver lining but we will face them too and lose.
Why?
1. PP is abysmal. Gut wrenchingly bad.
Core 4 can't make PPs work because they're all the same type player.
Stale like eating steak for the 300th time in a row.
Big changes need to happen for the DNA of this team
The PP sucking this bad is exactly why these 4 guys cannot gel together in the playoffs.
Overpassing and overthinking.
Constantly.
2. Rielly is a HUGE Negative.
Horrible on the back end. He must be moved. This topic is dead horse beating but WOW how many decent D men, need to play with him and be made worse night after night after night before you man up and say he just isn't a fit for this team. Mccabe is playing on his offside and we already see the misplaced passes and positional mal-adjustments making this team weaker. We are not a serious team with this guy.
3. Domi, Jarnkrok are absolute passengers.
Soft on taking the body. Cant defend. Cant score. Undersized so they get bullied around.
These guys play worse than Robertson who is a min wage guy.
4. Dubas screwed up 5 to 6 years ago. Some called it. Now we know it but now its glaringly in your face.
- Too much cap for 4 forwards who can only play 1 way.
- We need to sign Stolarz or Woll to big contracts soon or we will be MID of the division.
- We need some quality D signed and the cap will make it tough.
We need to suck for a bit i'm afraid.
Big changes. And Marner leaving this year is going to suck even though its the right move.

Kids really making a name for himself
30 goal 60 point power forwards in there early 20's that can fight are unicorns, he's going to be loved by this fan base for a long time

Next game Matthews with Nylander Marner with Tavares. Alternate every game just to keep them on there toes. It is not like they never played together. And top the line at the end of every game. No matter the score. Send a message , we give it all until the buzzer, not a second less. That includes condserving energy without completly taking the foot of the gas.

Not when the brick Woll turns into Swiss cheese. The game was over when Vegas scored 3 goals in 7 shots. I'll reserve my judgment for the next game when Stolarz is in net. Our defence was also glaringly bad tonight. This team has so many warts.

-Our weakness all season long in secondary scoring is...still bad. Arguably getting worse?
-Our major Atlantic division rivals are loading up and talking about adding more.
Deadline is Friday.
I know we've actually gotten a lot of points lately despite the lackluster play, but we're flirting with going real cold at the real wrong time.

Woll let in 2 goals on 3 shots to start the game. How the hell are you gonna win with goaltending like that? Shots were 11 - 3, with Toronto dominating play to start the game and the score was 2-0 Vegas. That’s abysmal goaltending.
