It's actually hilarious how inept this team is. Medicore defensively, mediocre goaltending (as of late - which is what happens when you have two back ups masquerading as #1s), horrific offensively (relative to their cap expenditures), zero depth, mediocre power play and a horrific PK. On top of it all, none of the players are even likeable on an individual level, as they have the same "unable to rise to the occasion" issue and their effort level is beyond questionable 99% of the time. The Brian Burke years were literally better than this. The team might have been ass, but at least they looked like they tried most of the time.
A week or so ago evil was predicting we get close to catching the Caps. Today Caps up 15 points on this team of frauds.
