This team is garbage juice. I just look forward to Shanahan being fired and Mitch walking and being a pariah for the rest of his life in his hometown.

Why would he be the pariah? Mathews and Nylander are by far the weakest of the Core 4.

Marner has been the best of the bunch then followed by Tavares

MSLE have refused to build around the core 4 since we got them. I won't single out any player but we are as a team are going in the wrong direction.

This team is probably the worst of the core 4 era. The Vezina caliber goaltending we got in the first half will be what carries us to the playoffs.

No different than the 2014 team when they were heavily masked by Bernier's .940 s% from Oct to Feb.

Great plan, then we are left with Matthews and his boat anchor contract and bullshit effort. Makes complete sense to build around the player who cares the least on the team.

If there was ever a year to just tinker at the edges of the roster....this was it. Go toss a mid round pick at Brandon Tanev or something. Team didn't earn burning the entire future on this season. Here we are though.

These f***ing Leafs would wait until after the TDL to go completely to shit. Were 7-2-1 heading into the March 7 TDL. Treliving sent out too many futures (especially for Laughton) but the team was right there with Florida for the Division. Should've better read the situation though and only acquired Carlo.

Oh well. Can't wait until 2032 when this team is contending again with a new core group of guys, assuming the world hasn't ended by then.
