Because this is a write off year. Most of the players won't even be here 2 or 3 years from now. This is just a biding our time year. You ice a team because you kinda have to.

To add to that, it's a Wednesday away game against Buffalo and it's been really boring. If this was a high scoring affair or against a more exciting team a lot more people would have shown up by now, but instead it's a 1-0 grindfest and the only real positive has been Bernier.

Eichel's a monster but I don't think he will truly realize his potential until the team is HIS. Far too many times, some random bums are handling the puck on the PP over him or refusing to pass to him when he is wide open, just to take a measly wrister (looking at you Kane).
