Great now Gardiner is out. :( I wish they would call Panik back up and send Arcobello to waivers...Marincin to AHL. I also wish Bernier and Reimer could get back to their 2013 early season form..or even close to it.

Anyways, Go Leafs Go!

Looking at your defense, are their any leafs fans a bit disapointed they are not building through the back end.

For example drafting Hanifin and with Rielly that could be a legit #1 pairing unit in the near future.

And with another top pick this year, they could get another top end D-prospect. They could have one of the best defenses in the NHL in 2/3 years if they went that route.

Just curious

I'm already not a fan of Marincin-Polak as a defensive pair. I would've liked to see Corrado in over one of those two, but I guess you can't always get what you want.

Yes, obviously you are a miserable person if you don't base your fandom solely on the opportunity to get behind success...

You're miserable if you can't get behind the home town team who hasn't won a world series in 20 years. Yeah, you really are. If you can't get at least happy about that than you are miserable

I get told you always draft the best possible player and not draft strategically depending where your team is

We think alike.

Isn't there a baseball thread you could be high fiving all the other non-miserable bandwagon fans in? Go there..please.

They're playing some of the best hockey they have in years, driving the play in every game I've seen.

It's like night and day from the past several seasons, it really surprises me that so many people harped on those teams for not playing a sound style of game, and now won't watch when they turn that around.

It's your prerogative, but yeah, they've played real good hockey so far.

I'm with you - I've been encouraged and refreshed by the way they've played this year. Are they the most talented group? Nope, but the structure/style and effort are miles better than the last two seasons, which makes for a much more watchable team.

:laugh: Your life must be miserable that you'd rather watch a crappy Leafs team than a winning Jays team. Get on the bandwagon, everyone else is.
it's ok once the birds choke my hockey will be back on the big screen

and like 99% of the bandwagoners will crawl back in the cave
