I thought Domi played well with Matthews last game (against Sens) and Laughton grew into the game.

What are the lines you want to see going forward?

Knies - Matthews - Domi
McMann - Tavares - Marner
Cowan* - Laughton - Nylander
Holmberg - Kampf - Jarnkrok

*Cowan is the wildcard here, Matthews is not producing, let's call up our best prospect and hope for the best.

Rielly - Carlo
McCabe - Tanev
Benoit - OEL

Cowan is way too young dude. Calling him up in the hopes he bails out the teams offensive woes is a recipe for disaster and the perfect way to ruin him.

I feel we are more a less a team of semi incompatible players, exacerbated by the fact we play a game not suited to our personnel. So we are probably better leaving pairs of forwards and D together that are comfortable and going from there.

Pray Laughton finds some chemistry with someone.

That’s where I’m at. It doesn’t make a rats ass what the lines are. The results are usually the same. What we really need is for this group to sink low enough that they actually miss the playoffs.
Maybe then Shannys new boss will make the required changes

Robertson is the current Cowan. Swap him in.

Or move Jarnkrok up and Lorentz on the 4th.

On D....I was a big proponent of Carlo getting Rielly going but I'm about ready to throw in the towel on Morgan being a top 4 guy this season. He's having a terrible time.

We traded our first round pick for the next 3 years..... missing the playoffs would be really bad.... Like maybe worse than trading Seth Jarvis for Marleau

I'd like to try Robo and Benny in the playoff lineup but dont know how. First subs I guess.

Reavo can take games from Holm if his knees still work for a bit.

Putting Nylander and Marner together is SOOO intriguing, but both players are more effective with the puck on their stick. It will need time for them to work out where the dangerous positions are when the other has the puck, but definitely interesting and I like how there's toughness with Laughton.

Hard pass marner can stay with jt or carry his own line no interest in two players being non physical on the same line stop hitching him to Someone he can have jt 😭😭
