Nelson has been playing well lately. The Islanders are still fighting for a playoff spot. Doubt he gets traded before the trade deadline and only if Islanders are definitely out of a playoff spot. Lou has no problem keeping UFA. He did it with Scott Niedermayer and Zach Parise.
