Pfft. The British and the French have them beat. Others as well. The lyrics of the star spangled banner sounds like a completely different country than what the US actually is
I wouldn't call "God Save the King" 'stirring', although Beethoven thought well enough of it to write variations on it.

I like the French one and the old German one (written by Hayden).

The melody of "The Star Spangled Banner" is actually an old English drinking song

Winnipeg only has 8 back to backs?

What the flying F?
I think a lot of the back to back issue is arena availability. Since there is nothing in Winnipeg except hockey and blackflies (and they are in different seasons), scheduling is easier. :sarcasm:

Any ex goalies here?
What do you think of woll’s glove hand and rebound control ?
My first thought was a new glove not broken in enough yet - still too stiff. Other than the glove I don't think rebounds have been particularly bad (or good).

That's only one of the reasons. Carolina ties with the Leafs with 16 back to backs, how do you explain that one? Busy college basketball schedule?

I was mostly just having a bit of fun at Winnipeg (and my sisters for living there).
