i know marner is a great player but man hes a turnover machine this year. constantly putting us in bad positions lol. i know when his passes work they are amazing but theres too many low % risky attempts for a team that has trouble defending.

I also didnt like the move 34 made putting the puck between the legs when he was the last man back even if it looked pretty....Thats the kind of play that will kill us in the playoffs.

its just getting a bit old, play hard, keep possession and pressure other teams. these fancy passes lead to turnovers and odd man rushes against way more often than they result in goals for us. im actually of the mindset matthews and marner would be better suited on different lines at this point.
