I have to say I was somewhat impressed by Gally's speed out there, he also gave the puck away 3 times, but when the kid gets it together, he will be a fine Left winger.

I wouldn't worry about him too much. He's going to be at best a Brent Burns type player.

He's big, but he's a gentle giant. His hockey IQ is no where near the top guys (Doughty, Pie, Karlsson etc) and his offense is hardly as good as it is publicized in the OHL (he plays on a legit powerhouse).

Oh I'm not.

I like the Kessel trade. Kessel > Seguin, Hamilton I don't see becoming anywhere close to Burns

Just my opinion. Kessel's a beauty

Because all the "serious" people spend their time telling how Cherry knows nothing and is washed up.

Hes right more then people give him credit for.

I remember defending cherry and the one thing I said to his detractors. Was, Cherry, myself and the rest of us were here before Burkie and Wilson and we,ll be here long after they're gone. So cut him some slack.

I expect Montreal to be much better in the 2nd period, not a big fan of Therrien though. The coach that got canned and Pittsburg wins the cup in the same season. Surprised he was the Habs choice unless this is a premeditated move to rebuild.
