I miss the good old days of Al Strachan torturing John Davidson. Those were the days, it was great watching Al effortlessly smack that hockey Dr. Phil back into place.

As was mentioned in the early game, it's likely you'll see many less scrums for the first few games since players are somewhat out of shape, so they probably don't want to waste energy on stuff like that.

I'm sure you'll see them be much tougher in a couple weeks when they have their stamina again.
 
Hot stove used to be great when Milbury and co ripped Strachan every Saturday night.


Now its a whiny bunch of nobodys with Friedman and Maclean.

Hot stove is the worst program on HNIC. I usually either leave the TV area or switch the channel. They can definitely do a better segment in that time. Maybe discussing hockey and the actual game..
 
Oh **** Jagr scored for Dallas. And Tarasenko has his 1st. Blues dominating Detroit on shots.
