Nylander has been brutal today. Its no effort look and I dont like it. I understand its probably frustrating how he is having a career year and 2nd most points and he has to be on the one on the 3rd line when marner returns.

Probably thinking why cant marner be on 3rd line

I don’t see why it would matter at all, if Nylander and Marner both need to drive lines, it’s even

Go out there and be a super star against lesser competition

Nylander and Marner don't give two shits about the remainder of the regular season, and shouldn't.

You won't see them waste any more energy on this useless stretch of the season.

Holmberg and Tavares are both just taking up space out there.
Neither does much of anything offensively.

Nylander I can understand, but if Marner thinks he can just flip a switch when the games matter then he's learned nothing

I like the way Matthews plays away from Marner.

Sure he's not as dynamic offensively but its almost like he's forced into playing a more dominant north-south old school big C style of game.
He has to go and retrieve the puck more and do more of the heavy lifting because he's playing with linemates not as talented as Mitch.

Showing and rewarding a player who has played well.
I see nothing wrong with that. That used to be the case. You play well, then you play alot
I can't believe that anyone has an issue with this. It's exactly what a coach should do.
