I am not that enthused that Joe Thornton is Auston's mentor lol. Hall of Famer, but a master choker in the playoffs.

I thought there might have been some wisdom to picking up a guy like Thornton at the end of his career if he came with some fire about it like Spezza and told the kids to leave it on the line so they wouldn’t have regrets like he does.
