This is where I will give Dubas a few years before I start judging him. His hands will be tied next year outside of trades due to the cap. We simply can't be this soft of a team forever.

Engaged Nylander is on the same offensive level as Marner. Creating and scoring goals. Carrying the puck, gaining the zone and keeping the puck from the defenders using his edges and skating ability.

We haven't yet seen that Nylander thus far this year.

He's not on the same level as Marner, but he's better than he's shown. The big thing is though, Marner plays with a shift to shift intensity that most of this team lacks. I also don't think that is a trait you just develop. Marner developed it due to being undersized and always playing with a chip on his shoulder due to how much he's been doubted. That has never been the case with the other 2 big 3 members.
