The rule states that if the whistle is blown, or the referee intends to blow the whistle prior to the puck crossing the line, it's no goal.
Andersen was covering the puck more than sufficiently long to warrant a whistle.
Most know the rule. But the goalie is also supposed to have control, which it didn't look like he did. The ref loses sight(I'm guessing) so he blows it down.
